I’ve been working with clients this week who are dealing with “shoulds”. This is what I “should” do.
We all have our “shoulds”. I hear myself saying it, too.
The question is, who set up our “shoulds”? Did we come up with them, to get us to what we want and our goals? Or did we get these “shoulds” from those around us–parents, spouses, friends–and then take them on as our own?
